This week at La Jolla Music Society SummerFest

Tomorrow (7:30 p.m.) at Sherwood Auditorium in the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, 700 Prospect St., La Jolla. “Brahms III: Intimacy and Grandeur.” All-Brahms program. “Variations on a Theme of Haydn”; Sonata in E-Flat Major for Viola and Piano; “Two Songs for Alto, Viola and Piano”; and String Quintet in F Major. Includes pianists Orion Weiss and Shai Wosner, violists Michael Tree and Heiichiro Ohyama, mezzo-soprano Tamara Mumford, and the Tokyo String Quartet.

Wednesday (7:30 p.m.) at Sherwood Auditorium. “An Evening With Leon Fleisher: 80th Birthday Celebration.” Bach's “Sheep May Safely Graze” from Cantata No. 208 (arranged by Egon Petri), Capriccio in B-Flat Major (“On the Departure of His Most Beloved Brother”), “Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue,” “Chaconne” from the Partita No. 2 (transcribed for piano left-hand by Johannes Brahms); Schubert's Fantasie in F Minor for Piano Four-Hands; Ravel's “La Valse” for piano four-hands (arranged by Lucien Garbon). With pianists Fleisher and Katherine Jacobson-Fleisher.

Friday (7:30 p.m.) at Birch North Park Theatre, 2891 University Ave., North Park. “Dancing at SummerFest: Rioult.” Choreography by Pascal Rioult to music by Mozart, Stravinsky and Ravel. Featured danceworks: “If by Chance,” “Black Diamond,” “Wien” and “Bolero.” With violinist Shih-Kai Lin, and pianists Jeewon Lee, Wosner and Weiss.

Sunday (3 p.m.) at Sherwood Auditorium. “SummerFest Finale.” Mozart's Quartet in F Major for Oboe and Strings, K. 370, and Duo in G Major for Violin and Viola, K. 423; Dvorak's Quartet in E-Flat Major for Piano and Strings and Serenade in D Minor for Winds and Strings. Includes violinists Jennifer Koh and Cho-Liang Lin, cellist Alisa Weilerstein, clarinetist Sheryl Renk and oboist Allan Vogel.

Prelude events (free to ticket-holders) are held one hour before concerts.
